Rahmat Wali from Rumbur Kalash valley is living in Kalashagram village. He is a disabled person with unmatched skills of woodcrafts .

He is making effigies (Gandau) from wood without using any specialized tools.

Gandau- traditional carving figures are carved from one piece of wood to take the form of the deceased. They are usually erected over the grave by a son of the deceased. 

A very proud woman, his mother is very old and lives with him.

Rahmat Wali is the unique to teach wood carving to children.

We must bring some small carving tools that he need to teach wood carving to children and explain them the carve symbols.
